SEATTLE — If you’re still planning the menu for your Super Bowl party, these cocktails and a mocktail are sure to be a big hit with party guests.
The mocktail uses Topo Chico Sabores Blueberry with Hibiscus Extract to create a fruity, fresh flavor. It provides a treat for any party guest who wants a tasty drink without the alcohol.
“It’s very much top of the market right now,” said Alex Russell, Tutta Bella mixologist. “Dry January may have ended, but it doesn’t have to.”
Recipe: Blueberry Nojito
- Topo Chico Sabores Blueberry with Hibiscus Extract
- .5 oz. lime juice (half a lime)
- 1 bunch muddled mint
Directions: Muddle mint in the bottom of a glass. Add lime juice and ice and pour Topo Chico to the top.
The two cocktails use fresh products from Swire Coca-Cola out of Bellevue, Mexican Coke and Topo Chico Sabores Lime with Mint.
Recipe: Coca-Espresola
- 1.5 oz. aged rum
- .75 oz. Licor 43
- 1 oz. cold brew concentrate
- 2 oz. Mexi Coke (or Coke of choice)
- Float half and half
Directions: Fill rocks glass with ice. Combine all ingredients and finish with half and half.
Recipe: Topo Lopez
- 2 oz. tequila reposado
- .5 oz. lime juice
- 1 tsp. Coco Lopez (coconut cream)
- Float with Topo Chico Sabores Lime with Mint
Directions: Shake all ingredients with ice (except for the Topo Chico) and pour into a collins glass. Pour Topo Chico Lime & Mint to the top.
“I do love the coconut cream,” Russell said. “It adds a nice little touch to this. I’m also a big fan of Coca-Cola and espresso and throwing a little booze in there for good measure.”
