SEATTLE — We went wine tasting – city style!🍷 🍇
When you think of wine tasting you might think ok... time to book a trip to Napa Valley or uber to Woodinville. But what if I told you there is an amazing tasting room literally in Seattle’s backyard?? Browne Family Winery is right on 1st Ave. in the hustle and bustle of Pioneer Square. So of course, me and my foodie friend Kelly Le went to check it out!
I usually love my reds but besides that, I honestly don’t know a lot about wines. I pretty much can tell if it’s a white, red or rose. So, I was super stoked to meet the owner, Courtney Browne, along with her Tasting Room manager who quite literally showed me the ropes on how to taste. We played a fun blindfolded aroma game to kick things off and then tried a couple of their signature flights. My personal fav was the sparkling flight which was *chefs kiss* and perfect for summer! I loved how approachable they made wine tasting -- and I never once felt like I didn’t know enough to explain ‘what I was tasting’ etc.
Such an awesome experience that all wine lovers will enjoy, even if you wouldn’t consider yourself a connoisseur. A huge thank you to Browne Family Vineyards for inviting us over and sponsoring this video!
