SPOKANE, Wash. — The Gonzaga Bulldogs dominated in its 109-52 win against Warner Pacific Wednesday night.
Despite the game being an exhibition game, the Zags didn't hesitate in getting the scoring going. Warner Pacific kept the game close to start, but the Zags eventually got into a rhythm and wouldn't look back.
Nolan Hickman would lead the Zags in scoring with 19 points on 8 of 13 shooting from the field. Michael Ajayi and Braden Huff followed up Hickman's effort with 14 points each and Graham Ike chipped in 11 points.
The Bulldogs shot 51% from the field and 36% from three, while holding Warner Pacific to 31% shooting from the field and 34% shooting from three. The Zags also took advantage of Warner Pacific's turnovers, scoring 35 points off 23 turnovers.
Gonzaga now awaits a top-10 matchup with the Baylor Bears set to come into town next week. The Zags and the Bears will tip-off from the Spokane Arena on Monday, November 4, at 8:30 p.m.
