SEATTLE — Are you searching for the best Mariners memorabilia to show off the next time you host a watch party?

Forget baseballs, gloves, bats, or cards, a one-of-a-kind piece of Mariners history is up for auction - Ken Griffey Jr.'s shower sandals.

Lelands, a sports memorabilia and card auction site based in New Jersey, listed the shower sandals worn by the Mariners legend. The rubber sandals are described as an “unusual memento” showing “nice use.” Each sandal has a fading number 24 written on it with a black marker.

Lelands does not say which seasons or for how long Griffey wore the sandals, but they were certainly used.

The starting bid is set at $200 with two days left. To make your winning bid, head to auction.lelands.com.

Griffey was the No. 1 overall pick by the Mariners in the 1987 amateur draft. He went on to spend 11 seasons with the Mariners, helping them win a pair of American League West titles, before leaving for Cincinnati following the 1999 season.

Griffey returned to Seattle in 2009 to conclude his career and retired at the age of 40 in 2010. He was inducted into the team’s Hall of Fame in 2013 and the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2016. He is now an ambassador for the Mariners.
