The Seattle Mariners are getting more than a new field this season, there are also several new food and drink items on the menu at Safeco Field! Din Tai Fung, Jack’s BBQ, and On Deck Donuts are joining the lineup in 2018.
Din Tai Fung is taking over the International Wok space in section 132 and will serve pork wontons, mushrooms and vermicelli noodles, wonton soup, and steamed traditional bao buns filled with pork along with vegetarian options, just to name a few.
In the mood for some BBQ? Pit Master and native Texan Jack Timmons is bringing Jack’s BBQ to The ‘Pen this year. Options include beef brisket sandwiches, pulled pork, burnt ends, hush puppies, and even jalapeño-cheddar sausages.
2018 new food at Safeco Field
Also joining Jack’s BBQ in The ‘Pen is an updated menu at Dynamite Chicken. The Ballard restaurant will offer a fried chicken sandwich, hot wings, tater tots topped with cheese and all the fixins.
For those of us with a sweet tooth, On Deck Donuts will be in section 132, near Frozen Rope Sandwich Company, offering house-made mini donuts and jumbo donut bites with your choice of toppings.
But what about something to quench your thirst and help wash all these new food items down? There are over 10 locations around the ballpark to get cans and craft beer. Washington's own Chateau Ste. Michelle is the new house wine at Safeco Field this season. You can get it by the glass, or bottle.
