SEATTLE -- Remember when Ken Griffey Jr. tried his hand at rapping?

The Kid joined fellow "kid" Kid Sensation for 1992's "The Way I Swing."

Yeah Griff is a swinger

not a singer

a def rhyme bringer

a home run hitter

but I'm not a dope slinger

For those who try to flex

I'm a quick neck wringer

For those who think the rhyme's wiggity-whack

I'm gonna sting ya.

It wasn't going to win any Grammys, but The Kid could definitely bring the funk.

Listen to the whole song here.

KING 5's Alex Rozier will be in Cooperstown, New York, this weekend reporting on Ken Griffey Jr's Induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Follow him on Facebook and Twitter @AlexRozkierK5
