SEATTLE — The ripple effect of Kalen DeBoer's move to Alabama will continue to be felt by the University of Washington football program.
The Huskies replaced DeBoer with Arizona's Jedd Fisch on Sunday evening, who will have the task of transitioning the program to a new conference and maintaining its success.
In the meantime, Washington players have 30 days to enter the transfer portal and maintain immediate eligibility at their destination programs. According to NCAA regulations, coaching changes trigger a month-long period in which student-athletes may look for a new home for the following season.
