WSU running back Wayshawn Parker entering transfer portal

Parker rushed for 735 yards and 4 touchdowns as a true freshman this season.

PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State University running back Wayshawn Parker announced Thursday morning on X that he would be entering the transfer portal. 

The news comes after WSU Offensive Coordinator Ben Arbuckle announced he will be leaving the Palouse to become the next offensive coordinator for the Oklahoma Sooners. 

Parker rushed for 735 yards and 4 touchdowns as a true freshman this season. He averaged 5.4 yards a carry, with a season-long of 75 years. 

The Cougs still have one bowl game left after dropping three of their last games to end the season.
