Barely a month after he was repping the Nike Air Monarchs, Pete Carroll’s preferred shoe, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson will have his own shoe.
Prior to Thursday’s release of the Dangeruss Wilson 1, Wilson has tweeted out a few promo pictures and videos with sneak peeks of the shoe:
Nike says that the shoes are inspired by Wilson’s “dual dynamism.” The website goes to say:
“The shoe includes a heel Air Max bag for performance and comfort, while the patent leather on the tongue and the added butter leather on the mud guard provide a classy look for the red carpet (or other formal affairs). Wilson’s number three, also a symbol of wholeness and consistency, informs other features of the shoe.”
The Dangeruss Wilson 1 will be for sale online as well as at select Nike and Nordstrom locations in Portland and Seattle.
