SEATTLE – Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett and safety Kam Chancellor will miss Sunday’s game in New Orleans,
Head coach Pete Carroll said Friday Bennett might need to undergo knee surgery. NFL.com reports it's to repair cartilage. But that won’t be determined until next week.
It’s not clear if the injury is due to the cut block by left tackle Jake Matthews against Bennett two weeks ago. Bennett missed the rest of that game but played in last Sunday’s 6-6 tie with the Cardinals.
Chancellor will miss his third straight game with a groin injury.
Tight end Luke Willson is also out. Tackle Bradley Sowell was initially listed as out, but has been upgraded to questionable.
