SEATTLE — The Seattle Seahawks are now tied for the NFC West division lead.

Trailing by three points late in the fourth quarter, the Seahawks rallied with a late touchdown to beat the Cleveland Browns 24-20 on Sunday afternoon to improve to 5-2 this season.

Here are three takeaways from the Seahawks' comeback victory.

Finding a way

This was one of those games that seemed to be getting away from the Seahawks.

Seattle was more efficient per play, but the offense spent most of the game on the sidelines watching the Browns sustain long drives to bleed the clock.

Over the second and third quarters, Cleveland had three different drives of over four minutes that resulted in points.

The Browns ran 20 more plays than the Seahawks, earned six more first downs and had the ball for nearly 37 minutes, while Seattle had the ball for just 23 minutes.

The Seahawks closed the wide gap by creating turnovers (3), getting two big stops in the red zone to limit Cleveland to just six points and capitalizing on the last drive of the game.

The rookies moment

It's a sign of Jaxon Smith-Njigba's ascension that Pete Carroll called a wide receiver screen for the rookie on one of the most important plays of the game.

With 44 seconds left in the game, and trailing by three points, Smith hit Smith-Njigba on a quick screen with some space on the left side of the field.

Smith-Njigba, who finished with three catches and 36 yards, beat the slot corner to the byline, DK Metcalf had a pivotal block on the edge, and the rookie scored the game-winning touchdown.

Smith-Njigba hasn't had *the* eruption game yet, but each week he flashes brilliance and he's been rewarded with more responsibility in the Seahawks offense.

Sweet throwbacks

Can we take a second and applaud the Seahawks' glorious throwback jerseys they wore this afternoon?

10 out of 10. No notes. Perfection.

We don't live in this world obviously, but it'd be a dream if the Seahawks wore these sweet jerseys for every home game for the rest of time.
