The Seattle Seahawks trimmed their roster to 53 players by Saturday’s deadline. By Sunday morning, the roster had already changed.

Seattle claimed guard Jordan Simmons and defensive back Simeon Thomas via the waiver wire and waived offensive lineman Rees Odhiambo and defensive lineman Branden Jackson to make room on the roster.

Now that the initial 53-man roster cuts are in the books and the official waiver claim period has passed, the Seattle Seahawks have begun to build their 10-man practice squad. NFL teams could begin signing players as of 10:00 a.m. PT on Sunday.

While news of Seattle’s signings has been slowly leaking throughout the day, four players are now official as of the NFL’s 6 p.m. ET afternoon transactions list.

All four players were waived by the Seahawks on Saturday during the initial 53-man roster cuts.

Seattle can sign six more players to its practice squad.
