Seattle Kraken announce 2024-25 season giveaways, training camp dates

Over a dozen days of training camp will be open to the public at the Kraken Community Iceplex.

SEATTLE — Hockey season is just around the corner, and the Seattle Kraken rolled out the team's giveaway night schedule and dates for public access at training camp on Wednesday morning.

Remember, KING 5 and KONG is the new home of the Kraken for the 2024-25 season in western Washington. Over 70 of the team's preseason, regular season, and postseason games that are not nationally televised will be exclusive to KING 5 and KONG in western Washington, with at least 12 games being live on KING 5.

Games will also be broadcast by KING 5’s fellow TEGNA stations KGW and KREM in Portland and Spokane.

Fans attending certain Kraken home games this season can score unique promotional items, including bobbleheads and other merchandise. Check out some of the scheduled giveaway nights below, including a few early in the regular season.

-Tuesday, Oct. 22 - 5:30 p.m. vs. Colorado Avalanche: Vince Dunn Bobblehead (first 10K fans)

-Thursday, Oct. 24 - 7:00 p.m. vs. Winnipeg Jets: Goalie Oven Mitt (first 10K fans)

-Wednesday, Nov. 27 - 7:00 p.m. vs. Anaheim Ducks: Buoy Bobblehead presented by Alaska Airlines (first 10K fans)

-Thursday, Jan. 23 - 7:00 p.m. vs. Washington Capitals: Jamie Oleksiak Bobblehead presented by Bristol Bay Native Corporation (first 10K fans)

-Saturday, Jan. 25 - 1:00 p.m. vs. Pittsburgh Penguins: Buoy Slippers presented by WaFd Bank (first 5K kids)

-Tuesday, March 4 - 7:00 p.m. vs. Minnesota Wild: Philipp Grubauer Bobblehead (first 10K fans)

-Wednesday, March 12 - 7:30 p.m. vs. Montreal Canadiens: Joey Daccord Bobblehead (first 10K fans)

Kraken training camp dates

The team will have over a dozen training camp sessions open to the public, including three dates of Rookie Camp, where fans can get a glimpse at the future of the Kraken before the full training camp gets underway. Fans will have access to Rookie Camp on Sept. 12, 13 and 17.

Once training camp gets underway on Sept. 19, fans will be able to attend on the following dates. The team does say these are subject to change, so make sure to check the team's website before making a trip to the Kraken Community Iceplex.
