INDIANAPOLIS — The 2024 Paris Olympics are fast approaching, and the first of several team trials events will determine which American athletes will represent the U.S. in this year's games.
The U.S. tends to be among the most decorated nations in swimming events and expects to send another team full of fast athletes to compete on the world's greatest stage.
Here's what western Washington fans should know about how to tune in for this year's U.S. Olympic Swim Trials, which local athletes to keep an eye on and when the top swimmers will be hitting the water.
How to watch 2024 U.S. Olympic Swim Trials
The trials begin on Saturday, June 15 and run through Sunday, June 23. The 2024 edition will be held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, in a massive temporary pool inside the NFL-sized venue.

What local athletes are competing at the U.S. Olympic Swim Trials?
Piper Enge, who swam at Mercer Island High School and is set to compete at collegiate powerhouse the University of Texas at Austin, is one of the top breaststrokers in the country. She is set to swim the 100-meter and 200-meter breaststroke as well as the 200-meter individual medley at the Olympic Trials.
Though she won't turn 18 until after the games, Enge's time in the 100-meter breaststroke is among the 10 best in the U.S. She is scheduled to compete in the 100-breaststroke on Sunday, the 200-breaststroke on Wednesday and the 200-individual medley on Friday.
Enge's teammate and fellow Mercer Island swimmer, Alexa McDevitt, will also be competing in a pair of events. She will be competing in the 400-meter individual medley on Monday and the 200-individual medley on Friday.
Ella Jablonski of the Seattle Metropolitan Aquatic Club will compete in the 100-meter butterfly on June 15. She is committed to another swimming powerhouse in Stanford University.
Ben Bricca, also from the Seattle Metropolitan Aquatic Club, will be in the 100-meter backstroke on Sunday.
