How to watch UW rowers, Seattle Storm stars compete at Paris Olympics | Aug. 1

Well before the West Coast sunrise, UW rowers are competing for medals in Paris.

PARIS, France — The Summer Games are in full swing with several medal events in gymnastics, swimming and rowing taking place Thursday. 

Simone Biles and Suni Lee are set to compete in the women's gymnastics all-around final. The event sees the Olympic athletes compete in all four gymnastics categories, including uneven bars, balance beam, floor and vault. 

Biles or Lee could be the first woman to win a second Olympic all-around gold in 56 years.

Other marquee events for Aug. 1 include the women's 200m butterfly finals and the men's 200m backstroke finals. Rounding out the afternoon swimming competitions is the women's 4x200m freestyle relay final.
