Just because the Seattle Seahawks' season is over, doesn't mean they are finished making rosters moves, in fact, they are just getting started.

On Tuesday, the Seahawks' public relations department tweeted Seattle had signed six players to future contracts. Per league rules, clubs can sign players not currently on 53-man rosters to future contracts at the end of their seasons.

All six players signed by Seattle were Seahawks practice squad members to end the 2017 campaign: quarterback Trevone Boykin, tackle Isaiah Battle, guard Willie Beavers, wide receiver Cyril Grayson Jr., defensive back Alex Carter and defensive end Noble Nwachukwu.

Boykin is the only player to have played in a regular-season game for Seattle.

As of last year, there is no longer an initial 75-man roster trim before the final preseason game. Teams can have up to 90 players on their roster before the cutdown prior to the start of the 2018 season.

With many personnel decisions looming in the near future, the Seahawks front office will undoubtedly be exploring each and every option as free agency and the NFL Draft approach.
