SEATTLE — It is National Mentoring Month and we are celebrating all the wonderful people who help lift us up throughout our lives and careers.
We recently interviewed a woman who has dedicated her life to make mentoring easier through technology. Sarah J. Haggard is the Founder and CEO of Tribute, a modern mentorship app for the workplace that connects employees together for peer-to-peer mentorship. Sarah created Tribute after struggling to find a mentor during her decade long career at Microsoft. Now, she’s helping companies modernize their mentoring programs with an app that makes finding and connecting with a Mentor easier.
Sarah began building her start-up 3 years ago and has competed in multiple pitch competitions in order to raise capital for her company. In this interview she also shares her personal advice on how to persist in following your dreams.
