SEATTLE – A seagull battling an eagle battling another seagull in mid-air was captured in a stunning photo in Alaska.
The photo by David Canales was posted to social media by the U.S. Department of the Interior.
Canales was on a kayak doing an 11-day expedition from Valdez to Whittier on Prince William Sound when he snapped the picture. It shows one seagull in the bald eagle's clutches. Another seagull is seen going after the eagle.
The post does not say who won the battle.
