ISSAQUAH, Wash. — A driver escaped with non-life-threatening injuries after their car crashed and rolled off a highway overpass onto a major street in Issaquah on Friday morning.
Eastside Fire and Rescue shared a social media post and image from the scene just after 8:30 a.m. Friday.
The collision involved only one vehicle, and that driver was transported to the hospital with what fire officials called "non-life-threatening" injuries. The vehicle can be seen in the image with significant damage on 4th Avenue Northwest, which is the roadway directly below the I-90 overpass.
No additional information was available on what caused the crash or the latest condition of the driver. A PIO with Washington State Patrol did tell KING 5 at the scene that the driver of the vehicle had a suspended license.
