TACOMA, Wash. — Two people were injured in an overnight wrong-way crash on Interstate 5 in Tacoma.
A wrong-way driver who was under the influence was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes when they collided with a second car, according to state troopers. A third car then struck the first car.
The crash happened just after 1 a.m. I-5 near the Port of Tacoma road.
Three lanes were blocked for almost four hours for the investigation.
The two people who were injured were taken to Tacoma General. They are expected to be OK.
