Drivers will face lane reductions on northbound I-5 in Tukwila this weekend.
The three left lanes of northbound I-5 will be closed from the Interstate 405-State Route 518 interchange to Martin Luther King Jr. Way from Friday at 10 p.m. to Sunday at 11:59 p.m. The southbound I-405 HOV bypass ramp, Southcenter Boulevard on-ramp, and Interurban Avenue South on-ramp to northbound I-5 will also be closed.
The closure is weather-dependent.
The work is part of a multi-year project to replace broken concrete, repave, replace expansion joints, and make ADA improvements on 10 miles of northbound I-5 between Des Moines and the Duwamish River. The three right lanes of the same section and the same ramps were closed the weekend before.
