SNOQUALMIE PASS, Wash. — Westbound Interstate 90 at milepost 47 was backed up for a few hours after a bus caught fire with 17 people on board on Tuesday afternoon.
The fire occurred 6 miles west of Snoqualmie Pass.
The fire was out shortly after 3 p.m.
All 17 people were able to exit the bus safely with their luggage, according to Washington state Trooper Rick Johnson.
The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
