SEATTLE — A King County judge found probable cause Friday to hold a man accused of vehicular homicide and other charges following a deadly crash in downtown Seattle Thursday.
One person was killed and several other people were injured in the crash involving a taxicab and truck.
The occupants of the taxi were taken to Harborview Medical Center, where a woman in her 70s later died, according to Seattle police.
The driver of the truck, who suffered minor injuries, was arrested for investigation of vehicular homicide, according to Seattle police.
The crash occurred around noon on Thursday at the intersection of Fourth Avenue South and South Washington Street.
When firefighters arrived, they extricated the passengers of the taxi and provided medical aid on scene. There were a total of five people in the taxi, including three women in their 70s, the male driver and a male passenger, according to Seattle police.
