BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Northbound Interstate 5 has reopened in Bellingham after a multi-vehicle crash blocked the road for around nine hours.
The crash involving a semi-truck and passenger vehicle occurred just north of Lakeway Drive at milepost 253. The semi-truck driver was the only person injured in the collision.
The road closed at around 5 p.m. on Wednesday evening and reopened at 1:30 a.m. Thursday morning.
Traffic was diverted to Lakeway Drive during the closure.
