FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — A crash involving a military vehicle on northbound Interstate 5 in Federal Way was fully cleared Wednesday afternoon, hours after it was first reported.
The crash was reported around 11:30 a.m. near South 272nd Street. It involved a military vehicle that ended up on its side, according to Washington State Patrol Trooper Rick Johnson.
No serious injuries were reported.
Around 2:30 p.m., traffic backups had reached 7.5 miles, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
Despite the crash being cleared, the Washington State Department of Transportation warned of lingering delays.
