MARYSVILLE, Wash. — Police activity is still blocking one lane of the northbound on-ramp to Interstate 5 at 88th Street Saturday morning.
Northbound I-5 was completely blocked for a time on Saturday morning due to an "ongoing incident," according to the Washington State Patrol. Drivers were asked to avoid the area and find alternate routes.
I-5 reopened around noon on Saturday, although the right lane of the northbound on-ramp remains closed. Trooper Jacob Kennett tweeted the scene is secure and safe to travel past, but police activity remains ongoing. Drivers are asked to slow down and move over if traveling near the scene.
