After a Wednesday soaker, another round of rain is headed our way today -- the second of three systems to move through Western Washington.
The rain will start late morning and run through the afternoon. It could be wrapping up around the evening rush hour.
Then we get a break and possibly temperatures in the 60s for Friday.
The real worry comes on Saturday when the most powerful of the three storms hits. Most forecast models are predicting rain and high winds.
Sustained winds in Puget Sound should be 25 to 35 miles per hour on Saturday afternoon and night with gusts to 50 in the more exposed places close to the water. Even stronger gusts are possible north of Everett and along the coast.
The Pacific satellite shot shows how the storms are lined up. The Saturday storm doesn't look like much now, but will pick up intensity before reaching the coast.
