Creek turned 'dumping ground' restored for salmon in West Seattle
We are continuing our 3 weeks of coverage about the southern resident killer whales. The main challenges facing their survival are lack of prey, pollution and boat noise. This week we are focusing on pollution. Contaminants in our rivers and in Puget Sound have negative impacts on both salmon and the orcas. KING 5 Environmental Reporter Alison Morrow is taking us to West Seattle to show us a creek that has gone from drainage ditch, to salmon habitat.
