How the People's Burger is hanging on

Food Trucks everywhere are feeling the impact of fewer workers on the streets and events on hold.

SEATTLE — Fewer workers in the offices and events on the calendar are having a massive financial impact on our Food Trucks.  According to the Washington State Food Truck Association, the number of permitted trucks in King County fell from 460 in January of last year to 327 as of September.

Farshid Varamini, is the owner of The People's Burger food truck which can be found in SODO, Westlake, and Bothell regularly. He shared his story with us about how he got started, the food they make on the truck, and how he's fighting to hold on to his business and employees every day.

ABOUT PEOPLE'S BURGER: "At The People's Burger, we pride ourselves on sourcing fresh and local ingredients to craft our grilled-to-order burgers.

We exclusively use grain-fed Northwest beef for our handmade patties. Our thick fries are hand-cut every day and all of our sauces are made in-house.

You'll also find we like to throw specials into the mix, like slow-smoked pulled pork, BBQ beef brisket, Greek grilled chicken, fire-roasted shrimp tacos and fire-grilled sausages." thepeoplesburger.com
