Teenager dies after SeaTac car crash, 1 woman in jail

A 19-year-old man died as a result of the June 21 crash, according to the King County Sheriff's Office.
Three people are being treated for life-threatening injuries, according to first responders.

SEATAC, Wash. — A 22-year-old woman is in jail after a crash in SeaTac killed one teenager and injured several other people on June 21, according to the King County Sheriff's Office (KCSO). 

Firefighters and medics responded to a two-car crash around 4 p.m. in the 3200 block of South 200th Street of SeaTac last Friday, just south of Angle Lake. A19-year-old man died from injuries as a result of the crash and four people were injured, KCSO said.

A 22-year-old woman was arrested and booked into King County Jail for investigation of vehicular homicide.

KCSO said the case is still open as detectives are actively investigating. The King County Prosecuting Attorney's Office will make a charging decision in the case. 

The King County Sheriff's Office said two sedans were involved in the crash and at least one person was trapped inside an overturned car. The patients were transported to Harborview Medical Center and other local hospitals.

Three people suffered life-threatening injuries and one other person was treated for moderate injuries, according to a previous post from Puget Sound Fire on X.

South 200th Street was closed for approximately four hours while the King County Sheriff's Office Major Accident Response and Reconstruction Unit (MARR) investigated.
