A total of three people have been arrested for the fatal shooting at Turnkey Park on July 16.

KENT, Wash. — Four people are now charged in connection to a fatal shooting at Kent's Turnkey Park in what prosecutors say happened during an attempted robbery that showed "a surprising amount of planning and forethought."

The suspects, ages 16, 17, 18 and 20, are being charged as adults and all face first-degree murder and robbery charges. They are being held on $2 million bail each.

According to charging documents, Daysal Abdullahi (18), Diaviante Dunmore (20), Marais Dunmore (17) and Semarias Woods (16), worked together to orchestrate an armed robbery at Turnkey Park in Kent on July 16.

The robbery resulted in the death of 13-year-old Matthiew Stavkovy.

On July 16, Abdullahi allegedly set up a meeting to buy camera gear from a seller through the OfferUp website. They agreed to meet at Turnkey Park in Kent that night.

Evidence recovered from the phones of the suspects indicates they chose time and place, as well as planned an approach route, had a getaway driver and arrived early to stage themselves before the victims arrived, according to charging documents.

"Despite the defendants' young ages, this shows a surprising amount of planning and forethought," prosecutors wrote, adding that while they may not have planned to kill anyone, they "knowingly engaged in a dangerous and violent offense" while one of them was allegedly armed.

Matthiew went to the meeting with his sister, the seller and another friend, according to police.

Based on post-Miranda statements and witness statements, Abdullahi and Diaviante were the ones communicating with the seller.

Diaviante, who was 19 at the time, told police his brother, later identified as Marais Dunmore, fired the first round.

When Matthiew and his friends saw the gun and heard the gunshots, they ran to their ATVs to get away. Matthiew was shot in the back.

Diaviante said his brother later said he fired a shot because they thought he was going to be hit by the quad the victim was driving.

Charging documents identify Marais Dunmore as the shooter. They go on to say he had a bag with a loaded 9mm handgun. The ammunition was identical to that fired at the park. Charging documents state Marais "laid in wait for the victims, donned a mask, pulled out a handgun, and fired shots" that killed Matthiew and narrowly missed his sister.

In addition to the robbery and murder charges, Marais faces a charge of unlawful possession of a firearm.

Diaviante stated the shooting was never supposed to happen and the gun was there in case "something goes wrong for the opposite way from a transaction perspective." When asked if they had planned to take the camera gear without paying, Diaviante said yes.

Semarias is believed to be the getaway driver in the case, according to charging documents.

Abdullahi was arrested July 17. His arraignment is scheduled for Aug. 5.

The Dunmores were arrested July 25 at their home. Semarias was arrested July 26 when he turned himself in. They will all be arraigned Aug. 12.
