Thieves crash car through front of Bothell cannabis store for the 3rd time in a month

There were six suspects who were in and out of the location within five minutes. Two cars used in the burglary are believed to be stolen.

BOTHELL, Wash — A Bothell cannabis store was hit with a crash-and-grab burglary for the third time in a month early Thursday morning.

Police were called to the location at 22524 Meridian Ave S. at around 3:20 a.m. A neighbor called 911 reporting that they had heard a loud noise.

"Officers are familiar with the address," Bothell Police Department Public Information Officer Cam Johnson said. "They knew they were responding to another commercial burglary here."

Officers arrived at the store within five minutes, but by the time they arrived, the suspects had already left. There were six suspects, all wearing hoods and masks. The car used to break into the shop and the car the suspects left in are both believed to be stolen.

The "Have a Heart" dispensary has poles in front of the store to keep crash-and-grabs from happening, but the car was able to maneuver through them at an angle to bust in the front.

The store already had boarded-up windows and a temporary doorway left over from a burglary in late November. There are multiple Have a Heart locations around western Washington. Three locations were burglarized within a span of ten days last month.
