MONROE, Wash. — The Pacific Northwest's largest county fair is back.
The Evergreen State Fair celebrated its opening day on Thursday and runs every day, except August 28th, through Labor Day.
The 11-day event has has been held at the 193-acre Monroe fairgrounds since 1946, taking a break for just one year during the pandemic. The fair is owned and operated by Snohomish County, and features rides, animals, and plenty of food.
Each day is highlighted with a "grandstand event," from major musical performances to monster trucks.
